Combined microflotation effects in polymetallic ores beneficiation
Abstract
Article Highlights Microbubbles in the form of water-air myroemulsion of frother solution improve efficiency of extraction of fine hydrophobic particles. Pulp density affects the floatability of sulfide minerals during selective separation of polymetallic ore. At optimal pulp density, the probability of microbubbles meeting fine particles of hydrophobic minerals increases. Combined microflotation contributes to the formation of aggregates with fine-particle hydrophobic particles and efficient selection of sulfide minerals.
