A Critical Study of the objections of Orientalists in the Hadiths of the Prophet (SWS): in the light of the“Takmila e Fath ul-Mulhim” by Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Usmani

Abstract

Orientalists have done the most work on objections to Islamic teachings. After the Holy Qur'an, they have targeted the hadiths. He made various objections to make the hadiths on different traditions doubtful. Various Islamic scholars have responded to this from time to time. Many scholars have critically examined Orientalist objections regarding the hadith in their commentaries. Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani also has great services in this regard. He has criticized such objections in his famous book “Sharh Takmila Fathul Mulhim”. “Takmila Fathul Mulhim” is actually the explanation of "Sahih Muslim" in which Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani has criticized modern objections of Orientalists on Hadiths. Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani's critique of the Orientalists' objections to the hadiths has been reviewed in this research paper.
