La angustia en los adolescentes como respuesta a la consistencia del otro. // Anxiety in adolescents as an answer to the soundness of the Other.
Abstract
The current text starts from the clinical experience with adolescents and tries to account for a clinical phenomenon found with some frequency in clearly non-psychotic adolescents, but in who there comes up a figure of the threatening Other, not enunciated and perhaps not enunciable, a mute, anonymous presence, which comes up in the dark, leaving him without resources. The central hypothesis is based on redoubling the fall of the symbolic function of the Other: on one hand, the adolescence, which characterizes itself by the distancing from the father; and on the other hand, the fall of the symbolic function characteristic of the time what leaves the contemporary subjects less protected from emergence of the real. Drawing consequences from the Freudian reference in Civilization and Its Discontents, it can be maintained more exactly that it is not really the Other what has generally fallen as an effect of the contemporary discourse, but the symbolic dimension, its love dimension, its pacifying face, leaving the subject at the mercy of its own ferocity. // El presente texto parte de la experiencia clínica con adolescentes y pretende dar cuenta de un fenómeno clínico que se ha encontrado con alguna frecuencia en adolescentes claramente no psicóticos, pero en los cuales emerge una figura del Otro amenzazante y no enunciado y quizás no enunciable, presencia muda, anónima que emerge en la obscuridad, dejándolo sin recursos. La hipótesis central se apoya en un redoblamiento de la caída de la función simbólica del Otro: por un lado la adolescencia, que se caracteriza ella misma por el movimiento de desasimiento del padre, y por el otro, la caída de la función simbólica que caracteriza la época, lo cual deja a los sujetos contemporáneos menos protegidos de la emergencia de lo real. Sacando consecuencias de la referencia freudiana en el Malestar en la Cultura, se puede sostener más exactamente que lo que ha caído realmente como un efecto del discurso contemporáneo no es el Otro de manera general, sino la dimensión simbólica, su dimensión amorosa, su faz apaciguadora, con lo cual el sujeto queda a merced de la ferocidad del mismo.
