Speech mimicry as a communicative game: Gestalt-analysis
Abstract
The work is dedicated to the phenomenon of speech mimicry in the literary dialogue. The term ‘mimicry’ falls back to biology and is used in the article as a specific way adjusting and modelling one’s speech in accordance with the speaker’s wish to create a certain image in the eyes of their interlocutor for the purpose of pursuing his/her communicative goal. The author argues that the Gestalt-approach to the real and virtual dialogue gives objective clues for unmasking the mimics in the process of speech interaction.
