Tackling distal left main bifurcation disease lurking behind a patient of Wellens’ syndrome
Abstract
This is the first report to the best of my knowledge describing a patient with Wellens’ syndrome having chest pain accompanied by bifid T waves in precordial leads without significant ST segment elevation or Q waves in the electrocardiogram, and significant distal left main disease extending to the ostia of left anterior descending and left circumflex coronary arteries, treated by percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
