Heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction. Where are we today?

Abstract

Bulgarian Society of Cardiology adhere to the European Guidelines on Heart Failure (HF). The fi nalized studies and many debates and analyses after 2016 are prerequisite to creation of a new guideline for diagnosis and management on these patients. So called “grey zone” is of particular interest, which is now defi ned as heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction (HFmrEF).
