THE PLACE OF NIMESULIDE (NAIZ) IN RHEUMATOLOGY

Abstract

Research Institute of Rheumatology, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Moscow The paper describes the basic mechanisms of action of nimesulide, a selective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It demonstrates the rate of its anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities, efficacy and safety in the treatment of rheumatic diseases.
