Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater is an icon of 20th century architecture. It is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic, best known and most admired buildings in the world. The complex restoration process, which LOGGIA has the honour of including in this issue, has the added virtue that it throws new light on its design and execution. The restoration covers not only compromised structural and aesthetic aspects related to the concrete surfaces of the building but even the environmental management of the whole site, more and more endangered by the large number of visitors received.
