Quality Measurement on Yarn Bobbins Using Television Video-Waveforms

Abstract

Following the impetus given by radar display techniques, television and flying spot systems have been used for microscopic and macroscopic measurements since about 1948. Their application to the inspection of yarn bobbins dates from about 1959, when our work on a comparison of these techniques with visual inspection methods was started.
