Človek verzus stroj: „strojové učenie“ a jeho vplyv na modernú spoločnosť (Human vs. Machine: „Machine Learning“ and its Impact on Modern Society)

Abstract

The main aim of this essay is to reflect on the importance of modern technologies in our society and to analyze their impact on humans. In the essay, we focus on artificial intelligence, which is governed by the latest „deep learning“ method. It is undeniable that this type of artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming part of society and our everyday life. It is used in medicine, in the judiciary, in autonomous cars, but also in various social networks. In many cases, artificial intelligence begins to control our lives. In the first part we briefly describe this type of artificial intelligence and machine-learning in general. In the second and third part of the essay, we focus primarily on the negative consequences of the impact of artificial intelligence on humans, and we try to suggest possible ways to develop technological advancements in machine-learning. In conclusion, we consider the question: who we are, focusing on the biological dimension of human beings in relation to artificial intelligence.
