Tourism management in the context of transport services during the COVID-19 pandemic (analytical review)

The article considers issues related to the use of different modes of transport in the tourism management system. Extremely unexpected and acute reality of the last two years, which has shown the devastating side of the global character of the modern world, was the emergence and unprecedented rapid and widespread spread of COVID-19. Its spread has already led to a sharp decline in world production, transport, reduction of services, the most important part of which is the tourism business. In this regard, relevant studies are the ones related to the analysis of the possibility of functioning of different modes of transport used in short and long-distance travel in the context of the potential vulnerability of travel to COVID-19. Such types of transport used in the tourism industry as sea, river, aviation, railway, bus, road, etc. are considered. The analysis of passenger turnover on different types of transport, as well as the number of tourists served by domestic travel agencies and tour operators. It is noted that among other modes of transport, the most important criterion for safety of pandemic incidence is satisfied for car and electric car tourism.
