Recently, in institutional theory, the question of the spatial-temporal dynamics of institutional processes and their influence on delimited territories has been recognized. Based on the concept of situated institutionalism, this study problematized the case of the Industrial and Technological Health Pole (Polo Industrial e Tecnológico de Saúde - PITS), located in the city of Eusébio. The objective of the article was to understand the process of institutionalism of the PITS. Having as a guiding question: does the institutionalism process of the PITS located in the city of Eusébio occur in a situated way? The methodology was based on the qualitative case study strategy. Document research was carried out with material surveys and the constitution of a research collection. For the analysis, the "documentary clues" were selected in order to establish connections, comparisons and to constitute significant configurations between the relevant elements and dimensions of the documentary texts with the objective of the research. On the one hand, the results showed that, in this implementation phase, the process of institutionalism of the PITS was guided more by the traditional model of regional policies; and less for the organization of institutional practices situated in the sense of mobilizing a network of actors that connect people, daily life and organizations between different places, both in the city of Eusébio and in the neighboring city, Fortaleza. However, and in the case of PITS, this conception of organization in allusion to space established a level of analysis that will allow the consideration and deepening of these microsocial processes in future studies.
