Baroque poetry from the pages of ukrainian old-printed editions as an object of scientific bibliographic control
Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of presentation of poetry, printed on pages of Ukrainian Cyrillic old-printed editions of the end of 16th - the first part of 18th century, as an element of book culture of the Baroque. Peculiarities of analytical bibliographical description of «book requisite» poetry and inserts in prose text, caused by their genre, theme and the role in book structure, are revised. The main bibliographical description is supplemented with notes, which consist information on genre, function of text in the structure of edition, author (in case, when author is defined by additional sources), text addressee (in case of poetical dedications to patron of edition), image, accompanying the poetical text (in case of heraldic and descriptive poetry), content of prose text, accompanying the poetical text (in case of poetry which plays role of introduction, title or afterword), library shelf-number of the copy of edition which includes the poetical text, bibliography of the poetical text reeditions. The necessity of compliance of catalogue of baroque poetry from the pages of Ukrainian old-printed editions held in funds of Vernadsky National library of Ukraine is substantiated.
