THE TOXIGENE PROPERTIES OF ENTOMOPATHOGENICBACILLUS THURINGIENSIS

Abstract

There were analysed the toxigen properties of entomopathogenic bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis with various level of formation entomotoxins (crystal δ-endotoxin, termostable β-exotoxin) with use of test insects of different species (Lepidoptera, Dip- tera, Coleoptera). It is shown that the susceptibility of various taxons of the insects to entomopathogenic preparations is caused by the structure of their active toxins.
