Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions and awareness levels of producers on the use of spraying machines used in agricultural enterprises in Ankara province. The data used in the study were obtained by conducting face-to-face surveys with 381 agricultural enterprises in 19 districts of Ankara province. It was decided that it would be more accurate to examine the enterprises by dividing them into groups and cluster analysis was performed. As a result of the analysis, two groups occurred as 149 enterprises in the first group and 232 enterprises in the second group. Descriptive statistics were used in the research and chi-square analysis was applied to determine the differences between the groups. It was observed that the most important criterion taken into consideration by the enterprise executives in the selection of spraying machines was the existing tractor characteristics, and they mostly reduced the spray height and reduced the pressure in order to reduce drift during spraying. The most common problems encountered by the producers in spraying machines is high machine prices. It was determined that the most common problem encountered by the producers in spraying machines was spray nozzles. According to the results, it was possible to say that the enterprises operating in the first group were slightly more conscious in the use of spraying machines than the enterprises in the second group.
