Abstract

The research article is based on Vaishnava Doctrine and its Development from a historical perspective. This essay examines the development of the doctrine of Vaishnavism from an orthodox perspective. The development of Vaishnavism can also be seen in the research on Vaishnavism that has developed along a historical pattern. This opportunity is to explore how Vaishnavism's theory of God has developed from its origin to the present times. Various related literature has been taken as data sources for this article. This review is a literature-based analysis. Vaishnavism, which is one of the six sects of Hinduism, is similar to Saivism. Similarly, Vaishnavism has developed into Vaishnava Vedanta. A historical view of Vaishnava Vedanta is essential as it is fundamental to its doctrine of God. That is why this study takes Vaishnavism's doctrine of God as a historical point of view and strengthens the foundations of Vaishnava Vedanta philosophy.
