Abstract

A pesar de los éxitos obtenidos por el gobierno de la oligarquía, es cada vez más patente que es Álvaro de Luna quien ostenta el poder, lo que provoca la creciente oposición de la nobleza que creía controlarlo.Son muchas las medidas de reorganización administrativa que se abordan en estos años, gran parte en respuesta a peticiones de las Cortes, aunque casi siempre después de reiteradas demandas. Los numerosos problemas pendientes y la ruptura del equipo gobernante permiten que se manifieste el profundo malestar de las ciudades, acosadas por la presión nobiliaria y los privilegios eclesiásticos.AbstractDespite the success of the government of the oligarchy, it became increasingly clear that it was Alvaro de Luna who wielded power, hence instigating a growing opposition by the nobility who thought it was in control. Many measures were taken to reorganize the administration during these years largely in response to requests from the Cortes, although usually only after repeated demands. Many outstanding problems and the disintegration of the ruling team unleashed a sentiment of deep dissatisfaction on the part of the cities, harassed by the pressure of aristocratic and ecclesiastical privileges.
