Gereformeerde gemeente-opbou?

Abstract

In this article current definitions of congregation building (church growth) in the ranks of the Gereformeerde Kerke in Suid-Afrika are described. Several contributions of Reformed ("Gereformeerde”) theologians concerning these definitions are considered and evaluated. The possibility of different points of departure is discussed. In conclusion, several suggestions concerning a definition of congregation building are made for future consideration.
