Key highlights from the international AIDS society (IAS) conference 2021

Abstract

One of the highlights of the HIV meeting calendar, this year IAS conference did not disappoint in terms of content. It was virtual for all of us, bar 200 or so people who were able to get to the hub in Berlin, and the seamless platform made the lonely experience of attending from home more bearable! We summarise here key highlights on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis, antiretroviral therapy and co-morbidities. This paper is far from exhaustive so we strongly encourage accessing the conference materials, which will be freely accessible to all online.
