FEMINISMO EM TEMPOS DE BARBÁRIE: as mulheres e o desafio na reinvenção da organização política
Abstract
This paper brings brief reflections on the barbarism that expresses the contemporary crisis of capital worldwide in a voracious process of oppression (exploitation and domination) of the working class and its fractions. It points out that such a crisis differs in terms of the structural class components that underpin the domination of capital, such as race / ethnicity and gender. For this reason, women who are part of the working class, and especially black women, are deeply affected in the processes of ongoing barbarism; hence, feminism becomes an important social movement in confronting capital. It analyzes how the legitimation of barbarism occurs in a process of naturalization of the consequences of the accumulation of capital as part of the ideological strategy of alienation of social subjects and for this reason presents the category of alienation and consciousness as fundamental to the political struggle of feminism.
