TREATMENT OF PROLONGED NEONATAL JAUNDICE

Abstract

In the past decade we have witnessed a dramatic increase in the incidence of prolonged neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. The reason for that is still unknown. Neither there’re any standardised guidelines for treatment of infants with prolonged jaundice.
