Technological Sequences for Design of Non - Cylindrical Deep Drawing Tools

Abstract

Abstract : In drawing processes such as deep drawing , the final product shape is defined by the tools , the blank and process parameters . An incorrect design of tools or any other parameters such as blank metal , press specification .etc . may produce deviating shape or failed shape . This research examines the preparation of technical sequences for design of deep drawing tools to produce rectangular or near rectangular shapes . To achieve this goal , a water tank is chosen . Steel type St - 14 is in the received condition is selected as a deep drawing material . It is concluded that proper design of deep drawing tools give the best results without any defects .
