A case of concurrent infection of Ehrlichia canis and Haemobartonella canis is reported in a Rottweiller pup aged seven months. The diagnosis was based on demonstration of Haemobartonella canis in R.BC's and. thrombocytopaenia. The animal was successfully treated with oxytetracycline and supportive therapy.
