THE CONCEPT OF PRIMARY AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING IN THE URBAN AREA OF NIŠ

Abstract

Primary agricultural production shows insufficient use of the existing capacities and the natural base although it presents an important factor in the national economy. The aim of this paper is to present the concept of primary agricultural production and processing in the urban area of Niš, which will enable the organization of agricultural production and offer to be based on the principles of a modern market business, by improving the existing state and using the available natural resources. The realization of this concept implies the possibility of employing 1000 people. Based on the economic-financial analysis, the results we have obtained justify such a concept, which can encourage the development of small and medium-size enterprises in the area of agricultural production.
