This year we celebrate 100 years since the anniversary of the poet. During the little time she had, as she went to eternity at only 29 years old, Magda Isanos has written poetry, novels, theater and journalism. It has been said about her that she is the most profound poet of the Romanian literature. Exegetes consider her among the most endowed offspring, passionate in light and love of people, taking the reader through authentic and original work, by the depth of sensitivity and humanistic ideals. When she was only 1 year old, together with her parents, psychiatrists, Magda Isanos moves to Costiujeni, a locality around Chisinau. She grows up and studies there, in the hospital, then in the Diocesan high school for girls from Chisinau. Back then the director of the high school was the famous Elena Alistar, Eliza Isanos's sister and the aunt of Magda, Member of Sfatul Tarii. After a debut album with lyrics in the school magazines from Chisinau, the high school student becomes almost immediately the author of "Viata Basarabiei" ("Bessarabian Life"), alongside with Pan Halippa, St. Ciobanu, N. Costenco, T. Inculet, S. Cujba, Gh. V. Madan, I. Buzdugan, Al. Boldur, A. Lutcan and Vl. Cavarnali, which meant a recognition of her literary value. The article reconstructs these events, and not only, of the life of the poet, unknown until recently.
