The training and education of women was an important item of Serbia at the end of the nineteenth century. It shows numerous examples which manifested their appreciation, primarily through the establishment of various organizations, and schools, in order to require that they should be allowed to voting. Therefore, Serbia was at that time a very advanced society, patriarchal, but certainly not backward. It is in this atmosphere and the region of Kosovo and Metohia comes to the establishment of female community, and within them vocational schools, in order to organize the first Charity and later on a professional and practical education of female children. There is no doubt that here a special place belongs to a female community in Pristina and its vocational school formed in 1919, which is continuously working until 1944 and hence a nursery of future enlightened humane and education of women. In his nearly year-old paper with the help of the Belgrade Women's Society, which is a sub-committee, the female community of Pristina achieved remarkable results.
