The Impact of Utilizing Natural Resources on Enhancing Socioeconomic Well-Being Through Ecoprint Batik Training in Panembangan Village
Abstract
Natural resources in Indonesia have a high potential to be used to increase the financial welfare of society. Using plant parts as a medium for creativity in ecoprint batik production exemplifies utilizing natural resources. The ecoprint method of batik production is appealing among people in both rural and urban settings. Moreover, the beneficial use of plants in ecoprinting influences society's welfare, as seen by the considerable number of ecoprint batik sales both domestically and worldwide. Panembangan Village in Indonesia is a new location for ecoprint batik production and is now in the development stage. The current study investigates the impact of using natural resources to increase the socioeconomic of society using ecoprint batik training in Panembangan Village. The panelists were adult women who actively contributed to the Islamic organization, Aisyiyah, in the Panembangan area. The data was obtained through data collection, data analysis, data visualization, and deducing conclusion. The results of this study illustrated the positive correlation between natural resources with the ecoprint batik training and the community's financial status.
