Effect of micro-video health education on oral health cognition and behavior of school-age children under the medical education (医教结合下微视频健康教育对学龄期儿童口腔健康认知与行为的影响)

Objective To explore the application effect of combining medical education and micro-video health education in improving the cognition and behavior of oral health in school-aged children. Methods A total of 345 students enrolled in two primary schools in Liwan District from June to December 2023 were selected as the research objects. On the basis of regular offline oral health education, micro-video health education was added to improve the oral health awareness of school-aged children. The fourth National Oral Health Questionnaire in 2015 (student version) was used to investigate the oral health behavior habits and health knowledge of the two groups before and 3 months after the intervention, and to compare whether there were differences before and after the intervention. Results A total of 284 questionnaires filled in by students were valid for analysis. After the intervention, there was an incrased proportion of children with correct oral health behavior habits and oral health knowledge compared with those at baseline, especially in knowledge and behaviors about frequency of dental check-up, frequency of brushing the teeth daily, use of fluoride toothpaste, relationship between status of teeth and self-protection, dental caries is associated with certain bacteria, the role of fluoride in protection of teeth and most caries-prone foods(P<0. 05). Conclusion The combination of medical education and micro-video health education has a remarkable intervention effect in improving the oral health awareness of school-aged children, which is worth promotion and application. (目的 探讨医教结合下微视频健康教育在提高学龄期儿童口腔健康认知与行为中的应用效果。方法 采用整群抽样法选取2023年6月—12月就读于荔湾区两所小学二年级的345名学生作为研究对象。在常规线下口头健康宣教的基础上, 增加微视频健康教育宣教, 以提高学龄期儿童口腔健康意识。运用2015年第四次全国口腔健康调查问卷(学生版)调查两组学生干预前及干预3个月后的口腔健康行为习惯及健康知识掌握情况, 比较干预前后是否存在差异。结果 284名学生的调查问卷符合要求。干预后, 儿童口腔保健行为习惯和口腔健康知识掌握情况高于基线水平, (P<0. 05)。在“你多长时间到医院检査一次牙齿”、“你多长时间到医院检査一次牙齿”、“你每天刷几次牙”、“你现在用的是含氟牙膏吗”、“牙齿的好坏是天生的与自己的保护关系不大”、“细菌可以引起龋齿这个说法是否正确”、“氟化物对保护牙齿没有用这个说法是否正确”及“食物中特别容易致龋的食物是什么”的口腔健康意识认知上改变差异有统计学意义(P<0. 05)。结论 医教结合下微视频健康教育在提高学龄期儿童口腔健康意识中干预效果明确, 值得借鉴推广。)
