Los hilos de la vida: metodologías antropológicas y etnografías contemporáneas de los nortes de México

Abstract

In this contribution I am interested in reflecting on the different approaches implemented in anthropological research carried out personally with populations of northern Mexico. Under the notion and the metaphor of the threads of life, I approach from a heuristic point of view, the themes and results of research, the populations and their multiple geographies, in the light of anthropology and the conception of these geographies, themes and populations. I expose the problems and solutions faced in each of the investigations, revealing methodological, epistemological and fieldwork processes, based on local notions that evoke the threads of life.
