Professional education in a competitive environment: distance learning technology

The article shows how in a competitive race among educational institutions of professional education — universities and corporate universities, as well as private service providers — modern technology training and innovative methods to reach new categories of students and increase efficiency of training and retraining — are used. At the same time, providers are increasingly becoming the owners of IT-learning technologies and implementing its activities in the form ofbusiness projects. It is expected that professional education as a result of this will become more personalized, more convenient for the student. There is distance online education among these innovative techniques. Through the use of techniques such as online education, one could respond more quickly to changing market situation, actively introduce new methods of teaching, including short-time returns of funds invested into training. Based on the fact that current system of vocational education institutions, as a whole, does not meet the requirements of the labor market and employers, the article focuses on corporate education, which was built exclusively for the employer’s request.It has been shown that it increases the technological competence of employees, developing corporate ethics through online education. It makes a prediction that the remote learning technology can improve the quality of education and, in general, change the situation in vocational education.
