In the era of globalization the world economy could be characterized by the process of creating global value chains (GVC). Due to the participation in GVC national companies could get excess to the global export markets, high technologies and expertise. Integration of the Russian economy into GVC is made on the basis of narrowly diversified export items (most of it is raw materials), the large gap between regions regarding the level of integration into GVC and also the integration of Russian companies into GVC on the stages that form relatively small added value. The article deals with the analysis of the level of integration of different Russian regions into GVC. The article determines the main factors of quantity and quality parameters of the integration and the conditions for expanding Russian companies 'participation in GVC on advantageous terms in order they could get more added value.
