From a survey and quantitative and qualitative analysis of the contents of the journal Clío & Asociados, the article raises considerations about the lines of research on the teaching of history developed in Argentina. Italso reflects on issues and research problems and highlights the issue of teaching recent history as nodal because it was there where there was more accumulation of knowledge. Finally, it indicates three areas of vacancy and justifies its relevance.
