Un marco teórico y metodológico para la arquitectura vernácula

Abstract

Vernacular architecture is an important part of Cultural Heritage and, as such, appears within heritage and urban policies and regulations. However, it lacks specifi c conceptualization, which generates many confl icts related to its study and conservation. From a cultural and humanistic perspective, this paper proposes a redefi nition of Vernacular Architecture and a methodology for its study according to that meaning.
