Sylvia Pankhurst e un progetto pacifista per l’Africa
Abstract
The article analyzes the pacifist project of Sylvia Pankhurst, a leading figure of British politics in Africa from 1924 to 1952; in this period, the author supports the liberation of Ethiopia and Eritrea until they reach their complete independence firstly from fascist totalitarian politics and, later, from the reactionary behavior of the British Government and the League of Nations. The English woman founded the Movement for Peace and Hope that would allow her to take part in the Ethiopian Constituent Assembly.
