Arméniens en Turquie : entre déni ordinaire et pluralité des mémoires
Abstract
Through the study of life stories, this article highlights the difficulties faced by Armenians living in Turkey today in asserting identities and senses of belonging that deviate from the Turkish national model. It shows how individuals face the ordinary denial of the Armenian genocide and the invisibility imposed on the identities of “others”. Nevertheless, the article underlines the expression of alternative memories in Turkish public space during recent years.
