New Documents on the Beginning of A.S. Bashkirov’s Scientific and Pedagogical Activity

Abstract

The paper features previously unknown information about the circumstances associated with the arrival of A. S. Bashkirov to Samara and the beginning of his scientific and pedagogical activity. The chronology of events preceding the beginning of A. S. Bashkirov’s work at Samara University is detailed. New documents about the Kazan period of A. S. Bashkirov’s life, and prospects for further research are outlined.
