Status of acute symptomatic attacks in a female patient with thyrotoxicosis: Hashimoto’s encephalopathy. Case report

Abstract

Hashimotos Encephalopathy is an autoimmune disease associatedwith significant increase in titer of autoantibodies to thyroidperoxidase and thyroglobulin and characterized by inflammatoryand degenerative brain disorders. We report a clinical case ofrecurrent status of acute symptomatic attacks in a female patientwith Hashimotos encephalopathy.
