Literature is a medium to picture the environments of human familial life. By attracting language and to wonder the readers; explaining in the short form of witty language style is important and they are Poems. Modern Poetry has been accepted by everyone and has made the period of reading enjoyable which was only for the Pandits in those days. Since the beginning of the twentieth century, if a woman starts to speak for herself, society has been concerned about the idea it is not beautiful for a woman. Though women are also equal in human society she has been denied of basic rights. Today, social emancipation is the movement of speaking and writing in many aspects about untold problems. Feminism is wide-ranging and is observed by all as a movement coming out of the creation of thoughts. From the social origin, women have been suppressed in all aspects as slaves which are realized by feminists. From time immemorial male-dominated societies refused rights to women, and for redeeming the women of slavery of Bharati and Bharathidasan wrote energetic and rational poems that were admired by the world in the 19th and 20th centuries. Starting the revolution by them, it is a new exhilaration in today’s position and a radical contribution of poetry with a liberated feeling in language structuring the in-depth meaning, poetic language of women raised from the deep mind, experience, shuddering others feelings, women creators (poets), women who are facing the pain of complications. Salma is a modern Tamil poet who writes for the liberty of women. In her creations, she handled the language efficiently with full radical vigor and framed to and took about the pains of women. This paper exhibits select poems of Salma with the chosen themes.
