Through the local archives documentation, the present article tries to approach us to the situations of conflict (rapes, illicit unions, disputes, etc.) that the domestic servants of Salamanca (West Spain) suffered during the first half of the Seventeenth Century; and also their attitudes to the death and their relationship with their masters and their labour fellows reflected in the testaments.
