Nueva mirada, otro lenguaje, otro lente: cuando la cámara la maneja una mujer A new outlook, another languaje, another lens: when the camera is handled by a woman
Abstract
En el siguiente artículo pretendemos repensar el cine dirigido por mujeres y analizar la producción artística de las cineastas neuquinas, en particular algunos de sus cortometrajes en que centran sus miradas en las mujeres. Examinamos tres film de 10 a 15 minutos de duración, en los cuales observamos en especial: las temáticas que abordan, desde qué lugar enfocan el lente, con qué atributos presentan a las protagonistas, qué tratamiento le dan a los personajes en general. Los cortos seleccionados para el análisis están construidos desde un enfoque feminista. Sin embargo, estas son algunas excepciones en la producción de las directoras presentadas, puesto que el resto de su cine y también, de otras colegas, repiten en general el cannon masculino, aunque percibimos que cuando la cámara la maneja una mujer existen, tenues indicadores femeninos.In the folowing article we want to rethink the cinema directed by women and analize the artistic production of women cinema-makers from Neuquen, mainly some short films which focus on women we go into three 10-to-15- minutes long films and we analize the issues dealt within each, where the lens is focused, the characteristics used to introduced the characters, the way the characters are described in general. The selected short films have emerged from a feministic approach. However, these are some of the exceptions in production of the presented directors since the rest of their production as well as the ones by other colleagues reproduce a male chauvinistic approach. We feel that when the camera is handled by awoman some femenine touches can be percieved.
