The rapid development of distributed photovoltaic power generation exercises an important influence on the current power dispatching operation and power market transactions. In the context of power market reform, this paper analyzes the organizational process for the participation of distributed photovoltaic power generation in power balance and the status quo of its participation in market trade; it summarizes the problems therein. Then based on the demands for market construction in China, the paper explores the process design of distributed photovoltaic power generation for the participation in power balance and related market-oriented mechanisms. Finally, the paper prospects for the key technologies that are urgently needed in the future to improve the monitoring, dispatching and control level of the power system for distributed photovoltaic power generation and establish a organization process and market-oriented mechanism of dispatching and production suitable for the development of distributed photovoltaic power generation.
