Coexistence of a neoplastic lesion in the oral cavity and extra-pulmonary tuberculosis is a rare phenomenon. We describe a Case of a 65-year-old male diagnosed with an early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue, and concurrent ipsilateral cervical tuberculosis. We discuss the thorough use of investigations and multidisciplinary opinions to explore the initial diagnostic conundrum and implications for follow up.
