The objective of the research is to design a cost system for production orders in the microenterprises that sell food and beverages in the city of Azogues, for correct decision-making. Descriptive in a population of 368 microenterprises. 39% of those surveyed consider that the lack of accounting data does not allow adequate and timely decisions to be made, showing that there is harm by not implementing a system of this type. Ecuador is one of the countries in Latin America with one of the highest percentages of micro-business creation; however, they are not sustained over time due to lack of technical studies and lack of accounting information. The proposed model is suitable for the management of a microenterprise dedicated to the sale of food and beverages, because it allows obtaining specific information on the accounting and financial situation of the business that leads to developing business strategies.
