An analogy is drawn between the main concepts of mesology – affordance, mediance and trajection – and the logic of lemma put forward by the Japanese philosopher Yamauchi Tokuryū (1890-1982) in Rogosu to Renma (Logos and Lemma). In particular, a comparison is made between the order in which he puts binegation before biassertion in the tetralemma and the definition of the reality of a milieu as r = S/P (S taken as P). The logic of milieux (those of the living in general, as well as those of humans in particular) would then be a lemmic.
