"Vek dronov" a výskum krajiny/ The Age of Drones and Landscape Research

Abstract

The use of drones is rapidly growing in last years, they have been used in many new domains. Originally drones where developed for military purpose. Thanks to their efficiency and safety, they have been used also in land survey. They handle a number of tasks, from classic photography to the delivery of goods or spraying of fertilizers in the fields. In this article, we briefly describe their history, general rules for flying, legislation, basic classification, their application and as well as their advantages and disadvantages.
