Rebelión, organización sindical y violencia del Estado: La lucha de la Appo en 2006

Abstract

En 2006 surgió en el Estado de Oaxaca la Asamblea Popular de los Pueblos de Oaxaca (Appo). Durante seis meses tomaron la ciudad capital de forma pacífica, no siendo así la respuesta de las autoridades estatales y federales. Durante este período se manifestaron diversas formas de organización social y al mismo tiempo diversas formas violencia del Estado. Este artículo trata sobre la composición y organización del movimiento, las diversas corrientes de pensamientos y la heterogeneidad que lo componía. Al mismo tiempo se hace un muestreo de las formas represivas a las que recurrieron los gobiernos para suprimir la resistencia que se conformó con diferentes sectores sindicales y sociales. For six months they took the capital city peacefully, but that was not the response of central state and federal authorities. During this period there were various forms of social organization and also several forms of state violence. This article is about the composition and organization of the movement, the various currents of thought and its heterogeneity. At the same time is a sampling of the ways that goverments resorted to repression in order to suppress the resistance that was made up by labor and social sectors.
