AI en de filmische verbeelding

Abstract

Artificial intelligence is ubiquitous in contemporary culture, and so is its imagination. In this exchange, we examine from different academic positions, including philosophy, film studies and media archaeology, how AI is imagined and represented in the films Her (Spike Jonze, 2013), Ex Machina (Alex Garland, 2014) and Conceiving Ada (Lynn Hershman Leeson, 1997).
