In the face of the growing brazilian energy problem and the increasing environmental requirements, this work is aimed at reporting and analyzing the use of the rural biodigester applied to the small family farmer. The aim of this work was the diffusion of studies with the use of biodigesters. Since the original purpose was to develop a model biodigestor for the small Alagoan farmer, in the Program Biomass Energy Master of UFAL. Subsequently, was realized a field day demonstrating all the technology employed and a questionnaire was applied to 50 participants. In general, it is possible to highlight the motivation and satisfaction of all who participated in the field day and also the long way to be traveled to make the implantation of this technology accessible
