The problem of labor exclusion in Argentina. Analysis of the intermediation policies (2004-2016)
Abstract
This document analyses those segments excluded and at risk of being excluded from current labor market of Argentina. From quantitative information that is collected by the Permanent Survey of Households made by the National Statistics and Censuses Institute, it is develop a description of some of the most significant characteristics from this segment. Also, from qualitative information it is investigate the incidence of the active labor policies in general and the intermediation service in particular promoted from the national government. Between the most remarkable findings are: the prevalence of educative policies that don’t mean the labor insertion; low complementarities between local and national policies; absence of diagnostics refers to the local labor demand; and low skills from the workers that manage these policies.
