Pulcinella tra Maschera e Persona : un’esperienza di psicoterapia
Abstract
The masks we wear allow us to build relationships with the Other while assuming different roles within different contexts. Those masks serve as a filter between our individual conscience and the outer world. Tracing back through some moments of a precise experience of psychotherapy, this contribution examines the relationship between the I, the Mask and the Persona. Among other things, it explores the ways Carl Gustav Jung, in his renowned analyses of the individual’s roles in society, examined this particular relationship with terms that specifically evoked the figure of Pulcinella.
